I grew up on a ranch in NE Wyoming. I was a member of FFA and 4-H and showed, pigs, sheep, cattle and dairy cattle. I attended college on a livestock judging scholarship and received a Bachelors in Animal Science and a Bachelors in Agri-Business. I continued my graduate studies at Oklahoma State University and received a Masters in Agriculture. I have been helping local 4-H and FFA members with selecting show animals, feeding, nutrition, daily exercise, and maintenance along with hosting showmanship and fitting clinics for seventeen years now.

I also have many 'specialists' that I have showed against, judged with and/or met in college that will be contributing to this site as well. If a question arises that is not exactly in my area of expertise I will search leaps and bounds to get the best advice possible. These contributors will also be providing tips and advice via the blog, hope your looking forward to it! This site is not just one person's advice but a collaborated effort of many livestock producers, judgers, show team members, collegiate professors and of course judging coaches. All of the people contributing have had show, production and judging success as well as judged many livestock shows around the country . If you want to win, we want to help!
